The Old Town Trolley Tour begins every day (except Thanksgiving and Christmas) at 9:00 am at the Old Town Depot; however, you can begin your tour at any stop. Please note: Each stop has a different starting time.

How often do trolleys come to each stop?

The trolleys come by approximately every 30 minutes, though times may vary slightly due to traffic conditions and city events. Depending on demand, the time of year, the day of the week, and the time of day, our in-field dispatchers often put more trolleys in the tour loop at an increased frequency. Old Town Trolley is San Diego's most popular tour, and during peak times, it is not guaranteed that each trolley will have available seats.

Are your trolleys wheelchair accessible?

Old Town Trolley Depot is located at the Old Town Market on 4010 Twiggs Street and San Diego Avenue in the heart of Old Town San Diego, about a four-minute drive from the "Old Town Exit" on Interstate 5. Public transportation and parking are available at this stop.

Where do I park?

Convenient parking can be found near any of the trolley depots. Free parking is located in the lot directly across from the Old Town Market Depot on 4010 Twiggs Street.

Can I bring my stroller on board the trolley?

Yes, the trolleys can accommodate strollers, but they must be collapsible and stored up front with the conductor. Strollers in the aisle ways would constitute a safety hazard.

Are the trolleys heated?

No.

Are dogs allowed on your trolleys?

Assistance animals, such as seeing-eye dogs, are the only animals allowed on board the trolleys.

Where can babies or toddlers ride on the trolley?

Babies and toddlers can sit on the parent or guardian’s lap. Depending upon the age, a child could sit in their seat.
