How much is parking at SeaWorld San Diego?

Parking fees vary, starting at $35 for General Parking, $65 for Up-Close Parking (when available), and $75 for VIP Parking. Fees are subject to change without notice.

Are strollers and/or wheelchairs available to rent at SeaWorld?

Yes, wheelchairs and strollers can be rented online or at the rental shop near Guest Services inside the park. Guests must be 18 or older to rent. Strollers must be parked outside most exhibits and attractions. SeaWorld is not responsible for unattended strollers or their contents. Wheelchair access is available at all shows and attractions.

Can you bring food into SeaWorld San Diego?

Outside food, beverages, and coolers are not allowed, except for a water bottle or refillable water bottle. Guests with special dietary needs, including food allergies or baby food/formula, may bring items but must check with Park Security or Guest Relations upon arrival for approval.

Are dogs allowed at SeaWorld San Diego?

Pets are not permitted, but service animals are welcome. Service animals are limited to dogs and miniature horses trained to perform tasks for individuals with disabilities and must remain on a leash or harness at all times.

Does the park offer kennel services?

Yes, kennels are available for a nominal fee on a first-come, first-serve basis. They are located near the Parking Lot Toll Booths and measure approximately 4 ft. by 8 ft. Guests must bring bowls and food but may use water onsite and visit pets throughout the day. Pets must be picked up within 30 minutes of park closing.

Are lockers available to rent at SeaWorld San Diego?

Yes, all-day lockers are located near Guest Services. Hourly lockers are available at Electric Eel, Journey to Atlantis, Manta, and Shipwreck Rapids. Fees vary, and both cash and credit cards are accepted.

Can I smoke at SeaWorld San Diego?

Designated smoking areas, including for electronic cigarettes, are available. Refer to the park map for locations.

Does the park close for inclement weather?

SeaWorld remains open during inclement weather, though some outdoor shows, rides, and attractions may be temporarily affected. While refunds are not offered, the Weather-or-Not Assurance program allows eligible guests to exchange their tickets for a re-admit ticket. Visit Guest Services before leaving or SeaWorld’s website within one week of your visit for assistance. Certain ticket types, including complimentary, group sales, 14-day Length of Stay, and promotional multi-day tickets, are not eligible.

Does SeaWorld San Diego have free WiFi?

Yes, free WiFi is available. Connect to "SeaWorldGuest" after entering the park. Signal reception may vary by location and device type.

What credit cards are accepted at SeaWorld?

MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and JCB are accepted at all ticket booths, restaurants and gift shops with proper identification. Personal checks are not accepted.

Does SeaWorld have ATMs?

No, SeaWorld is a cashless park.

What items are prohibited inside the park?

To maintain a safe environment, SeaWorld prohibits weapons or items resembling weapons (including self-defense sprays, toy guns, and water blasters), recreational devices such as drones, skateboards, and scooters, as well as alcohol, marijuana, and other illegal substances. Glass containers, plastic straws, fireworks, laser pointers, flammable items, and large markers are also not allowed. Additionally, wheeled devices with less than three wheels or those lacking stability, flags or banners used for demonstrations, and clothing with offensive language or imagery are prohibited.

What age is free at SeaWorld San Diego?

Children ages 2 and under are free and do not require an admission ticket.

Can my child visit the park without an adult?

SeaWorld recommends that visitors age 13 and younger be accompanied by an adult.

Are there bicycle racks available?

Yes, bicycle racks are located outside the Main Gate Plaza.

Does SeaWorld San Diego have a bag policy?

Yes. All bags, backpacks, and packages are subject to inspection before entering the park. While no specific size limit is listed for daytime visits, items deemed unsafe or inappropriate by security will not be allowed inside.

Is the baggage policy for Howl-O-Scream San Diego different than the daytime admission bag policy?

Yes. The Howl-O-Scream bag policy is stricter than the daytime policy. Bags larger than 8" x 5", including purses and backpacks, are not permitted through the Howl-O-Scream entrance. Exceptions may be made for medically necessary items, which must be carried in a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" and will be subject to inspection. Guests with bags that do not meet these standards will be asked to return them to their vehicle.

Does a Howl-O-Scream ticket include daytime admission to SeaWorld San Diego?

No, a Howl-O-Scream ticket does not include daytime admission to SeaWorld San Diego. It is a separately ticketed nighttime event. You can purchase a daytime admission separately.

Are kids allowed into Howl-O-Scream?

While this event is intended for adults only, children under 18 will be admitted to the event. There is no discounted rate for children. Refunds will not be provided if the event is too scary.

Where do you enter Howl-O-Scream San Diego?

Guests may begin entering as early as 6 p.m. at the dedicated entry located to the right of the main entrance.

Will there be an area to wait in the park as it transitions to Howl-O-Scream?

On nights when park close is later than 5 p.m., guests already inside SeaWorld with evening Howl-O-Scream tickets must exit the park and enter through the security screening check that leads into the designated Howl-O-Scram park entrance starting at 6 p.m.

Can I wear a costume to Howl-O-Scream?

No. For the safety of the costumed performers and event guests, guests in costumes will not be permitted.

What is the difference between a One-Day Ticket and One-Day Any Day Ticket?

If you have a specific date in mind to visit, a One-Day Ticket would be the best option for your visit because the pricing will vary based on the date selected. The One-Day Any Day Ticket allow you the flexibility to come to the park on any day you want before it expires.
